A friend's opening day. This buck put more than 50 pounds of meat in the freezer for the winter - from his yard. He's still got an 8-pointer hanging around...

Nice. Solid in the shoulders. Rich fur. Good 'red cap' from above the eyes back to the ears. He lived and ate well. And now his purpose is fulfilled.
